Websites for Internet Safety:

Netsmartz.org - This is a website that offers tips and basic internet safety examples to help protect students against cyberbullying, exposure to inappropriate materials, and encountering online predators.

FBI.gov - The Federal Bureau of Investigation has put together some information to help protect underage users of the internet.  This page includes safety tips and interactive games for students to learn from. 

Safekids.com - This is a link to an article about how to keep kids safe when they are using the internet for either educational or non-educational purposes.

Netsmartzkids.org - This is a link to a video helping to prepare students for using the internet, and teaching them safe practices. 

GCFLlearnfree.org - This is a website that contains interactive tutorials for students to learn about internet safety. 

Webonauts - This is an interactive games which teaches kids to make responsible and respectable decisions during their online interactions.

Websites for Art and Music Instruction:

Pintrest - a website that contains a variety of ideas which teachers could use to update their teaching repertoire.

Craftgawker.com - this is a website similar to Pinterest, but is dedicated to craft ideas instead of a variety of interests. 

Zootool - this website is like Pinterest because it allows users to organize their content, however it does not limit users to collecting articles from one website, images, videos, documents, etc. can be compiled for all different areas of the internet. 

AudioTool - free online audio edition software, capable of mixing music, adding sound effects, amplifying song parts, and much more.

Audacity - this is a tool very similar to Audio Tool; however it requires a download in order to use the software. 

SoundCloud - online music edition tool similar to Audio Tool, which allows you to edit and share your music.

Virtual Musical Instruments - website which allows users to interact with online instruments such as the guitar and piano.  

VirtualInstruments - this website also gives access to a variety of online virtual instruments, however it provides a different selection from those offered by Virtual Musical Instruments. 

ButtonBass - this website has virtual instruments, but also allows users to record and play back the music they make using the online instrument. 

KinderArt - website that contains organized music lesson plans for teachers to adapt and use in their classrooms. 

Crayola.com - this is a section of the Crayola website which is dedicated to art lesson plans and classroom craft ideas. 

ArtEducators.org - this is a page on the National Art Education Associations website which provides links to art lesson plans and ideas from teachers around the country. 

Websites for Foreign Language Instruction:

E-Language School - a fun and educational website, it provides short videos to users for practicing commonly used words with their audio translation, as well as providing a list of common of common vocabulary word translations.  

Digital Resource Commons.edu - a website that provides access to many videos dedicated to foreign language instruction. 

Yabla.com - a website that assists in foreign language learning by 'immersing' the students in foreign language through the use of videos and other visuals. 

Babbel - this is an interactive website which assists in foreign language learning by having the user participate in mini-games translating a variety of words. 

Mangolanguages.com - this is a foreign language learning website very similar to Babbel, except it focuses mainly on conversational language more than the traditional grammar focus. 

iTalki.com - this is a website designed to connect students to language teachers as well as other students, allowing them to learn in a more personal way. 

Duolingo - website and application that provides quick, mini lessons in a variety of foreign languages.

Readlang.com - this website is designed to help users learn a foreign language through reading, students begin reading content that is written in the the foreign language and words can be translated simply by clicking on them. 

iTunes.Apple.com/Rosetta-Course - this is a downloadable application that is similar to Duoingo, except it has a limit to the languages that it offers. 

Foreign Word - a website that acts as a dictionary for many foreign languages, type in the English word you would like to translate and then select the translation language.

Wordreference.com - an easy translation tool, just type in the word in question and select the desired language translation. 

Translate.com - a translation website which allows the translation of more than one word, translating also short sentences.

Online Quiz Creator‎ - website that allows instructors to create online quizzes for students.

Quiz Star - allows you to create online quizzes and organize results.
